Shiloh, Tennessee, US
I love photos so this assignment was very fun. I could have look at the
photos for hours. I chose this one because I am a History Major and live in
Tennessee. Many people do not realize that some major battles took place in
Tennessee during the Civil War. There were 28 Battles that took place in the
state. The battle of Shiloh took place on April 6-7, 1862. Major General
Ulysses S. Grant led the Northern troops along with Major General Don Carlos
Buell and the Southern troops were led by General Albert Sidney Johnston and
General P.G.T. Beauregard. General Johnston was killed during the Battle of
Shiloh. Shiloh was one of the worst Battle of the Civil War.
It
was easy to find images but harder to decide which one to post. Uploading
images is something I do a lot so that was not hard.
